I’ll be starting with the little things I absolutely hate.
I take a lot of notes at school. I find it really helpful having it all in front of me when I have to study for a test. What could I possibly hate about this you ask? When I’m in mid sentence and my pen runs out. I start to notice the ink isn’t as flowy, and ever so slowly it stops writing all together. None of my pens are of the same colour so in mid page, mid sentence, I have to switch pens. Doing that also switches the colour I’m writing in. My favourite pen (yes I have one) ran out a few days ago and it was red. The note continued in black ink. My writing was neater with that pen
. I hate it because the sudden difference in colour and the difference of the neatness of my writing just plain bothers me.
And no. I can’t use a pencil. I just can’t.
I’m just a bucket of crazy.
Till next time,
N.S
So I haven’t posted in a while. Sorry! I’ve been dealing with school. A crap load of tests and assignments
. But izz all good.
My birthday is coming up!! I’m going to have a party with a few close friends, not a big deal. I’m not only looking forward to it because the guy I like is coming
but also because its going to be with friends of mine that I don’t see everyday anymore.
Another event thats coming up: the school dance (we only have one a year :s). I’m debating whether I should go or not. I went last year and it was fun. I’ll probably go this year too.
Cool stuffz going on: I started drawing. I used to draw a few years ago but stopped. So about two weeks ago I was doodling during one of my classes and I got into it. For a week or so after I had been drawing manga. But now I’m trying graffiti. I saw this pack of 80 sharpies on tumblr and it stuck in my head (it was really colourful ^^). I asked my mom to go get me some. I haven’t gotten them yet so I’ve just been working with what I’ve got. I think I’m pretty good at it. I’ve only done a few words so far and the only colours I’ve got are red and black but still… pretty good for my artistic abilities. I might post one when I get better at it.
I just saw the movie Geek Charming. Yes. I still watch disney. It was really cute. I wish I had a relationship like that
. Unfortunately, I do not. I’m forever alone.
The only reason I’m writing this is that I’m extremely bored. I have nothing to do other than homework. But come on, homework on a friday night? Like I said forever alone.
I’ll try writing again soon. If you feel like reading more about my incredibly boring self you should probably subscribe. I don’t write much anymore so there’s no point in checking back every day.
Thanks for reading…
So… The root of most teenage girl problems. I like a guy. I’ve known him for 3 years. I made the worst first impression anyone could ever make but I was an immature kid. Was it supposed to cross my mind that I would end up liking him? About a year and a half later is when it started. We had our little group of friends and I’m pretty sure they suspected that I liked him. He was completely clueless, obviously.
We still hang out (just the two of us) even though we go to different high schools. We text, talk on facebook, get ice cream, and go to movies. I really like him but he doesn’t feel the same way about me. I don’t think so anyways. I know he liked my best friend when we were in middle school. But now he likes a girl at his high school. It was a little weird when he told me because he can’t pronounce her last name but claims to know how to spell it.
There was one time when we went to the movies with a group of people and my hand accidently brush his leg when I moved. I noticed just after doing it. I also noticed that he moved a little bit so that it wouldn’t happen again. I dunno if this could mean anything but I thought I should mention it.
So what do I do? Forget about it and move on because he will never feel the same way? Tell him how I feel and risk ruining an awesome friendship? Is there some way to get him to tell me if he feels that way about me? Or maybe even get him to like me?
I just really have not felt like blogging for these past few days. I couldn’t bring myself to do it. But I’m procrastinating right now sooooo here it is. My favourite YA book: The Maze Runner by James Dashner. The genre is dystopian future, and science fiction. It’s the first book of a trilogy which should be read by everyone.
So this kid Thomas wakes up and finds himself in a box. This group of boys pull him out. He doesn’t remember anything except for his name. All of these boys live in the Glade, which is surrounded by huge walls. Behind the walls is this huge maze which shifts every night. At night these walls close to make sure that the monsters that live outside them don’t come in at night.
These boys each have jobs. One job is to be a runner. Runners run around all day in the maze trying to find a way out. They then draw their route for that day. The runners have been doing this for 2 years and still haven’t found anything.
The characters were great and interesting. It’s really easy to connect with them and feel their frustrations. The book is suspenseful and unpredictable. I was easily drawn in because the first thing that happens is the box. Its a new blind situation and its different.
The writing was a little annoying because the characters use slang like “klunk” and “shank” which Dashner came up with.
The second book is out, The Scorch Trails. The third and final book also recently came out too, The Death Cure.
I would have picked the Hunger Games but I’m going to do it for a different category. I LOVED Hunger Games and it too is one of my favourite YA books.

NOTE: I’m not going to do postaday anymore… Too much work to do and not enough time. I will try to post more than once a week but I make no promises. Subscribe! Like! Comment!
I haven’t posting. Thats just because I was really sick and couldn’t get out of bed. And after I got better I had to catch up at school. I have a bunch of tests next week. No worries though. I will make the occasional post but im completely back on Wednesday. Yay!!
I don’t read much mystery and the only book I remember reading is Acceleration by Graham McNamee. But it was a great book, no doubt about it.
The book takes place in Toronto Canada and its about a teenager named Duncan. Duncan works at the lost and found of the subway. One day he finds a diary of a serial killer. Throughout the story Duncan tries to find this serial killer.
The author adds many details, suspense, and a great plot. Some parts of the book are confusing. The story also doesn’t really draw you at the beginning but it gets better.
Overall the story is interesting and a good read. There are some slightly disturbing points in the story.
Very short post. My apologies. I’m sick and I have a test on monday. No time!!
Thanks for reading
This ones hard to choose because fantasy books tend to come in series and its hard to pick one… But I’m going to go with Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban. This is the third book of the Harry Potter series for those of you who don’t know.
Throughout the story Harry Potter is said to be in danger because a man who broke out of Azkaban prison is after him. Sirius Black was in Azkaban because he was said to murder 13 people.
In this book the Knight bus is introduced, all of the characters are settled into Hogwarts, and Harry struggles because of the dementors which are hovering about Hogwarts to protect him from Sirus Black. There’s also the part with the boggarts which is pretty funny.
This one is my favourite because a lot of new things are introduced which I wish would exist (the time turner). A lot of new characters, and spells also appear in the series at this point. It’s also my favourite because Harry overcomes many challenges and gets another person to call family; someone who cares about him.
Readers also get to see Harry’s weaknesses and strengths. So it also becomes a lesson for younger readers. The books shows friendship (between Sirus, Remus, Peter, and James), you shouldn’t judge people by what you heard from others or without really knowing the person (Sirius), and that you should face your fears (Harry and the dementors).
Thanks for reading.
So day 2… My favourite sci fi book was Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card. Ender’s Game is the first book in the saga. I haven’t read the rest but I’ve heard that the whole saga is great.
Most of this book takes place in a battle school where Ender was sent to. Ender and other children at this school train to be soldiers in order to fight Buggers which are aliens. Throughout the book Ender gets isolated by the other children, and it’s just Ender’s experiences. A lot of great stuff happens which all builds up to a great ending.
There are other characters like the children at battle school, Ender’s siblings, and commanders. All of these characters are introduced well into the story.
The ending of the book was amazing, and surprising. It was also very well written. It wasn’t obvious, nor confusing. But I absolutely did not see it coming and that’s part of why it was so great.
If you like sci fi and have not read this book yet, you should.
I don’t have time to write a longer review today. But I’ll try to make tomorrow’s post longer and better.
Thanks for reading
So I saw this challenge on another blog. The only difference was that their challenge is actually 30 days long. I didn’t like some of the topics so I cut the list down xD. So this list will be found under the page Book Challenge. Every day I will update that page and put in the link to each separate blog post. Next to the link will the name of the book. Here are the topics that I will post about for the next 16 days (yesterday’s post was the 1st one):
